first time going there, the service is 10/10. i got the catfish nuggets,yams & macaroni & cheese all super good. the fish was seasoned well. one of them recommended i try the breakfast out so that’s what i did the very next day . i got the catfish,eggs & grits w toast 10/10 again. super cheap too under $10 for the breakfast. definitely found my new soul food spot to go during the work week

This was an amazing find. Had the Ribs, Snapper, Wings, Shrimp, Mac and Cheese, and Potato Salad. All hit the mark. HIGHLY recommend the Medium Hot Buffalo sauce. The perfect balance of heat and flavor. When I'm back in the area, I will make it a point to stop here again.

The food here is truly delicious. Definitely worth the money. I will be paying them another visit. For the record we had: Combo 1) Fish, shrimp, & wings 2) Ribs, wings, & shrimp Sides Cornbread, homemade potato salad, mac & cheese, greens, yams and hush puppies. Red Kool Aid and a soda. WORTH IT, WORTH IT.

Been here a few times and the food is always good. Great customer service. I met the owners either son or nephew and nothing but good vibes.

This review is 5+++ star. Hotlanta is absolutely delicious! I was in the area for a funeral service and a friend highly recommended this spot—I’m so glad they did. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The gentleman who later introduced himself as Norm/Norman was incredibly kind and patient when I became overwhelmed by all the amazing menu options. I ordered the mac & cheese, greens, catfish nuggets, shrimp, and ribs. I asked for my food to be separated because I didn’t want the barbecue sauce touching my fried shrimp and fish, and Norm/Norman kindly assured me it was no problem. While I waited, he even offered samples of the baked beans and yams—DELICIOUS! When my order was ready, everything looked perfect and tasted even better. You can truly taste the love in the food. I went back to the counter for the peach cobbler I’d heard so much about, but unfortunately they were sold out (which tells you how good it must be!). Instead, I grabbed cornbread, caramel banana pudding, and lemon cake. I sampled everything before heading out and was beyond pleased. I’m so happy I stopped at Hotlanta on my way back to LA. Great people and amazing food—I will definitely be back!

We found this place accidentally while visiting our CPA next door. The staff is pleasant and the menu has a wide variety of excellent selections for a reasonable price. We decided on two platters, tilapia, shrimp, bbq ribs, fried chicken wings, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. We chose pineapple upside-down cake and lemon cake for dessert. All TOP NOTCH! The shrimp and the tilapia were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection, the macaroni and cheese was the perfect combination of cheesey and gooey. The wings were flavorful and not over breaded. The shrimp were my favorite, seasoned well and large in size. Fresh and delicious. The kool-aid is teeth rattlingly sweet, so ask for ice! Both cakes were moist with pineapple upside-down cake outshining the lemon. The restaurant prepares orders as they are placed so there is a wait time of at least 20 minutes. *This is the rub.* The interior of the restaurant is clean but the esthetics are low and the restaurant is crowded with people standing around waiting for orders. We will definitely return though as the food was OUTSTANDING! Order ahead or go have your taxes done while you wait and you can't lose!!

I was craving fish and grits and was told they only have grits in the morning so I had to come back to try it. It was amazing. I had it with grilled salmon and eggs. My first time I got 16 pieces catfish it was season to perfection and piping hot fresh. I plan on trying everything from the menu and I still have a long way to go. They will definitely be getting to know me.
